- Andrew and Gayle teach at many schools throughout Melbourne and would love to have the opportunity of presenting your students for their Debutante Presentation.
- We take pride in the relationship we achieve with all students throughout this time. It is very important to us that all students not only enjoy their special night, but that they enjoy the entire experience.
We not only teach students to shine but also instil in them the social side and the joy of dancing, something they can take with them through the rest of their lives.
- Our teaching format is based on building students confidence step by step, building them up so they are ready to shine on their big night.
- We are a husband and wife team. Both of us are professional ballroom dancing teachers who run our own ballroom dancing studio in Thornbury (Ydance) and we both have many years of experience.
From the time of the students first lesson, it is important to us to give our all to them. We may not be their parents, but on their night, we are just as proud of them.
- We usually run to a format of teaching 7 dances.
The first is done by only the boys, as we feel it is their night as well and they have had the expense of the night, so we like to give them recognition. They open the show.
The couples then dance 4 dances for their formal presentation and then return to the floor at about 10.30 for 3 more fun dances.
- We have had many comments from parents over the years, saying how much they enjoyed seeing their kids dance again, as really that is what everyone has come to see.
The kids also enjoy this as they can relax on the floor, it is a very informal part of the evening and they can show off their dancing skills.
Most parents are absolutely amazed at how much their child has learnt in just a short time.
- If you would like any more information, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We would be thrilled to hear from you and maybe have the opportunity to meet yourself and your students.
- We also do full Debutante Ball co-ordination as well.
- Ask us about our “Last Chance Deb Sets" for parents. A great fundraiser.
